Honey I'm home
Holy shit it's been eons since I updated this shit. I dono I find it hard to write something interesting in here, especially when I'm swamped at work.
I finished the single player story of the Outfit, I managed to get it on ebay for $20. I wouldn't really recommend the game for the single player story but I enjoyed the multiplayer aspect of it so I figured I couldn't lose for $20. Now I just need to convince my friends to buy cheap copies so we can battle it out online.
I managed to pick up Call of Duty 3 and Gears of War from a deal that Futureshop had on the Canadian launch day for Gears of War. I got both games for $100 which is a savings of about $40, I was very happy.
I've finished Gears of War (both Casual and Hardcore) and I'm really enjoying it online. I hate playing with fucking kids online however the endless banter really sucks. I really hate playing with people who figure they're "gangstas" as well or talk like fucking retards to make themselves sound tough. Just play the fucking game guys.
Even with all the whining about asshats online Gears is a really great multiplayer game. I've played more Gears online than any other game (including LoTR:BFME2).
I guess I'm about 1/3 the way through CoD3. Overall I'm impressed though I'm a fan of WW2 games (unlike pretty much everyone these days). If you enjoyed CoD2 you'll like CoD3. I played online and CoD3 seems like it's much improved as well though I haven't spent that much time since Gears keeps calling me in.
I still need to pick up Viva Pinata, I was going to buy Rainbow 6 : Vegas but neither single nor multiplayer demo really pulled me in so I think I'll wait. Maybe if some pals pick it up I will as well as I hear it too has co-op mode.
